BREAKING THE CYCLE OF POVERTY THROUGH EDUCATION, NUTRITION & CARE
CAÑÓN BUENA VISTA
Lantern Hill is located three hours south of the Mexican border in a small community called Cañón Buena Vista, outside of Ensenada, Mexico. Many children grow up attending our educational program three days a week. They receive tutoring, homework help, books to read, a healthy meal, and a safe place to play. Our teachers help the students stay on task with their regular school work, create additional educational activities and encourage the students in pursuing their dreams. The students also enjoy reading time, arts, crafts, games, and sports. Lantern Hill provides backpacks, school supplies, tuition fees for high school and college students, holiday celebrations, Christmas gifts, and a summer enrichment program. High school and college students give back by volunteering with the younger students.
DONATE TODAY! $1 A DAY ($30 A MONTH) WOULD PROVIDE 50 MEALS A MONTH FOR THE CHILDREN IN THE PROGRAM.
